ABOUT CASSIDY WILSON
Cassidy Wilson is a Gold Coast based musician whose passion and love affair with music stems from a very early age. Having grown up in Coolangatta, Cassidy’s childhood was immersed in live music thanks to the support of his parents.
Cassidy cut his teeth as a fourteen-year-old piano player in the music world by attending local jam nights. His passion for music followed throughout his schooling and onto a tertiary level where he completed a Bachelor of Popular Music and a Masters in Arts at the Queensland Conservatorium of music. Since completing his studies Cassidy has established himself as an outstanding professional musician and musical director. He has collaborated with some of Australia’s finest musicians and performers.

The Cassidy Wilson Trio is one of Australia’s finest music acts. The Cassidy Wilson Trio epitomises the cliché “Quality over quantity”. Cassidy Wilson fronts the trio bringing with him all the style and class of a bygone era. He has most recently gained critical acclaim for his onstage adaptation of the great Jerry Lee Lewis in the “Class of 59” Musical. Cassidy has also graced the stage of every major performance venue in Australia as a Pianist and Musical Director for Sony Music.
